Introduction to thermoforming: What are the methods for addressing water‑ripple defects in thermoformed packaging?
Modify the thermoforming mold: Change the entire smooth surface to a textured, dimpled one; this will significantly reduce water‑ripple defects in thermoformed packaging products.

What are the advantages of transparent blister-packaged products?
Transparent blister packaging boxes offer excellent display performance. These blister products are primarily manufactured using transparent plastics such as PVC and APET, which provide high clarity and come in a wide variety of styles. They are systematically designed to match the shape and structure of the packaged items, ensuring that the product’s form is showcased flawlessly. At the same time, transparent blister packaging helps control and manage packaging costs.

Thick-sheet thermoforming enables fully automated processing from raw materials to finished products.
Thick-sheet thermoforming is particularly well-suited for the mass production of products, as it enables fully automated processing from raw material to finished product, resulting in high efficiency and consistent quality. However, in terms of product dimensions, it is constrained by the machine and can only accommodate the production of items within specified size limits.

Thick-sheet thermoformed products typically feature large surface areas, substantial height, and thick material.
Depending on the form of the raw material, thermoforming can be categorized into two types: thick-wall and thin-wall. Thick-sheet thermoforming refers to a process in which the raw material has a thickness exceeding 2 mm; such materials cannot be thermoformed on automated machines and must be produced using specialized semi‑automatic thermoforming equipment designed for thick sheets. Products made by thick-sheet thermoforming typically feature large surface areas, substantial height, and relatively thick material.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Thick-Section Thermoforming
In the packaging manufacturing process, unless you use cardboard as your packaging material, no other processing method can compete with thick‑film blister‑forming technology in the market. The primary advantage of thick‑sheet thermoforming lies in its engineering‑driven rationality: it allows for the production of molded composite sheets, polyurethane foam sheets, and packaging and printing sheet products by making moderate changes to the tooling, thereby eliminating the need to switch between thick‑plate blister‑forming equipment and molding machinery. Products with very thin walls can be processed using high‑melt‑viscosity materials, while powders with uniform wall thickness are injected at low melt viscosity. For small batches of plastic parts, the favorable tooling costs represent another key benefit of thick‑blister forming. As for large…
